Rural Health
In rural areas, access to health care is often limited. In an effort to increase access to care for these patients, West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital currently operates three rural health clinics, two of which are in its primary service district. The clinics within the hospital's primary service district are the Vinton Medical Clinic and the Hackberry Rural Health Clinic. The third clinic is located in Johnson Bayou, Louisiana.
A variety of healthcare services are offered at each site, with medical care provided by nurse practitioners, nurses, and support staff. Same-day appointments are available.
